SAJD is developing SAJD Turbah, a physical electronic turbah for Shia Muslims. Its purpose is simple: to help keep count during salah and reduce the mental effort of keeping track.
We want that support to be quiet. No phone to pick up, no smartwatch to check, and no sound to interrupt the moment. These intentions guide what we build and how we assess it.
Our guiding principle
A turbah first.
The product should feel like a turbah first and an electronic device second. The technology should serve that familiar experience, rather than become its centre.
SAJD Turbah is still under development. We are taking time to learn from prototypes before making promises about the finished product.
